Alexcia Cox, currently the deputy chief assistant at the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office, has declared her candidacy for the position of Palm Beach County State Attorney. Throughout her career, Cox has tackled complex legal issues, held executive leadership roles, and focused on challenging cases to ensure the safety of Palm Beach County residents. Starting as a domestic violence prosecutor, she progressed to lead the domestic violence unit and currently serves as deputy chief assistant, collaborating closely with law enforcement and the community for justice. Cox is determined to continue the office’s mission and build on the accomplishments of Aronberg. Her dedication to the law and local advocacy, particularly empowering women, mothers, and young girls, has earned her several awards and recognitions, including the prestigious Order of Pegasus Award.
