Alexcia Cox, currently serving as Deputy Chief Assistant in the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office, is leading in a four-person fundraising competition to succeed Dave Aronberg. Starting her legal career as a domestic violence prosecutor, Cox has risen to become the chief of the Domestic Violence Unit in the State Attorney’s Office. In the third quarter, Williams, another candidate, received the maximum donation from 20 out of his 37 donors, primarily attorneys. Meanwhile, Cox secured donations from 13 out of 236 contributors, including lawyers, financial advisors, and Smitty’s Wings Sistrunk.
